GOALS
1. The goal of two events is to explore the emergence of new research fields in which modeling,
analysis and control of nonlinear and complex systems play a role of growing importance.
2. They will be devoted to an interdisciplinary audience with particular attention to master, PhD
students and young researchers and practical engineers.
3. The purpose of the events is to highlight current trends of research and future perspectives
in this field. The workshop is formatted in topics of theoretical lectures, short courses, Lectures for
the participants, oral and poster presentations (online and /or in person)
4. The subject is addressed in a transdisciplinary way, to encompass applications in engineering
(mechanics, civil, mechanical, astrodynamics, production, mechatronics, naval, offshore, aeronautical,
chemistry and electrical engineering), starting from the fundamentals and mathematical modelling.
5. Participants will be exposed to state-of-art knowledge in the areas of the lecturers’
expertise.
6. The two events consist of works in progress presentation, short courses, discussion of invited
speakers and industry and academia presentations, both from Brazil and abroad, connecting people with
complementary perspectives.
7. The short courses will focus on practical applications of tools and technologies, they will be
given by expert Professors, engineers and researchers from industry and academia.
8. The invited speakers are distinguished professors and industry executives that will share
their experiences and background in Dynamics and control systems, management, innovation, and
application areas of control and automation.
9. Industry and academic presentations will be carried out by engineers from industry and master
and doctoral students, from Brazil and other countries.
10. Official language of the conference is English; therefore, all submissions and presentations
must be done in English.
11. The presentations at the conference and workshop will be distributed in sessions according to
the abstract's topics.
12. Only accepted papers of participants and will present the paper at the conference, in person
or remotely, may be published in Special issues.
